New process can cut parts up to 300 percent faster than traditional cutting methods PDF Print E-mail

Flow International is calling its new waterjet cutting process a "technology breakthrough," and says it has "elevated the waterjet process and moved it into an entirely new realm."

According to Flow, the new Dynamic Waterjet cutting process, featuring "active tolerance control" can cut parts up to 300 percent faster than traditional waterjet cutting machines. The process is made up of software models that control a small, articulated "'wrist" cutting head designed to automatically adjust cutting angles for specific accuracy and part tolerance requirements.
Flow says that with the Dynamic Waterjet, manufacturers will be able to cut parts faster, eliminate taper and produce higher quality parts with better accuracy. Want to know more? Visit www.flowcorp.com
