SICK launched new versions of its IVC-2D and IVC-3D smart cameras — the IVC-2D Reader, IVC-2D R, IVC-3D 30, IVC-3D 300, and IVC-3D Food & Beverage. According to the company, the expanded product families are now able to handle more industry-specific applications. New options include bar code reading and optical character recognition (OCR) capabilities on the 2D cameras, and an expanded range of 3D options.
Features include: detailed inspection applications (IVC-3D 30) capable of measurements down to 15 microns and 5000 profiles per second; long-range field of view (IVC-3D-300) of 1000 mm in height and up to 1.48 m in width, with a 1.2 mm height resolution.
