New robotic welding cell is the latest in a line of pre-engineered cells PDF Print E-mail

Lincoln Electric's Automation Division has added to its family of pre-engineered cell concepts with the System 50, a newly designed dual head and tailstock robotic welding cell configuration.

The system is a self-contained work cell that features dual FANUC Alpha6 servo drive headstocks, an ARC Mate 100i robot and a choice of Lincoln power sources. According to the company, the cell's compact footprint of 164 x 90 inches can provide room to support a work envelope built around dual head/tailstock positioners. At the heart of the system is the welding power source or plasma cutting unit. One power source available is Lincoln's new Robotic Power Wave 655R power source.
The completed system comes with metal side panels for safety, safety light fencing at both load areas, pneumatic operator arc shield screens and dual operator control panels. Want to find out more? Visit www.lincolnelectric.com.
