Product Description: COMPANY PROFILE:
Proplanner is the premier site for web-based MPEM (Manufacturing Process Engineering Management) software and services.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Proplanner Process Engineering Suite version 1.0 is a web-based solution for creating, documenting, managing and accessing manufacturing process information. The solution comprises standardized process engineering modules developed by one of the largest and most knowledgeable Industrial Engineering staffs in the process engineering software industry in close cooperation with representative manufacturers. The modules are delivered to manufacturers in an integrated suite via the web using Microsoft's new .NET environment.
SECONDARY PRODUCT:
Proplanner's engineering suite is available in the following forms:
Client/Server - The Client Server installation requires the customer to use a new, or existing, Microsoft SQL server (hardware and software) to host the Proplanner application. Users can sign into the server and install the client-side software on their computer. A CD is required (as well as technical assistance from Proplanner) to install the Proplanner server software on the Client's software.
Internet - The Internet Installation allows the companies information to be hosted at Proplanner. The client-side software will automatically install when the user logs into the Proplanner server. With this option, there is no software to ship to the user, they simply log in and begin using the applications.
Intranet - The Intranet installation requires the provider (customer or ESP) to set up an IIS server within their firewall. An installation CD is required, along with IT assistance from Proplanner, to install the server at the provider's site. When the clients (users) log in, their software will automatically load.
