Metrix Build!IT enables 3D CAD part models to be effectively utilized on the shop floor for building, inspecting and routine operations of assembly tooling. By using Metrix Build!IT in place of 2D prints, digital designs are seamlessly linked to manufacturing. Fabricators can quickly refer back to 3D CAD data to verify modifications and reduce potential errors that may impact processes downstream.
Connected in real-time with portable CMM devices, Metrix Build!IT provides accurate, interactive graphical feedback of the actual part, assembly or tooling detail and fixture orientations in relationship to design model coordinates.
Quality Engineers can quickly measure and inspect components and assemblies using CAD reference geometry. Tooling fabricators can quickly move details and fixtures into position and zero-in to precise coordinate locations and alignments.
