PLC offers users remote operation |

Schneider Electric’s new Telemecanique Modicon M340 PLC is a rugged, compact, and user-friendly controller ideally suited for most applications, according to the company. The USB port offers users a simple and high-performance connection to the programming PC. Users can program online, transfer programs, access data files and manage remote operation and diagnostics thanks to open TCP standards and the embedded Web server functions. With its 4MB internal RAM, the Modicon M340 can manage applications up to 70K instructions and 256KB data. Data is automatically backed up in the internal flash memory and the application in an SD Card format.
